What is the Reflection period?

When you take out or renew your insurance, we give you a 14-day reflection period. That means you have 14 days to decide if you want to keep your policy for the year.

If you don't want to keep your policy, let us know within that time and we'll refund you for the insurance you've not used. There are some terms and conditions – you can find them in your policy document.

After the 14 days, you can still cancel the policy. We'll refund you for the insurance you've not used, but we'll also charge you a £50 cancellation fee plus insurance premium tax. But if you cancel the policy after you've made a claim or after something happens that you could claim for, we won't give you a refund.
