What should I do if I can't get the proof of my no claims discount?
Try web chat or please call us on 0344 209 0841. We're open 8am – 9pm Monday to Friday, and 9am – 5pm on Saturday. It's really important you get in touch. If we don't hear from you within 21 days of the date your policy started, we won't be able to insure you and we'll have to cancel your policy.
If you let us know you can't send us what we need within that 21 days, we'll change the number of years you've been claim free to zero. Your monthly payments will go up but you will still be insured.
If you pay by direct debit we'll change the monthly amount automatically. If you pay once a year, you'll need to pay the extra within 14 days. If you don't, we'll take it that you don't need your insurance any more and we'll cancel it. Then we'll make sure you get a refund for the rest of the year.
