What's your cancellation policy?

You'll find all the details you need about cancelling your insurance in your policy document. Log in to MyDocs to see it anytime.

We may cancel your policy at any time if we need to. You can also cancel your policy whenever you like.

When you take out your policy, you have 14 days to decide if you want to keep it for the year. If you don't, let us know and we'll refund you for the insurance you've not used. There are some terms and conditions – you can find them in your policy document. See condition 9, under General Conditions, of your policy document.

After the 14 days, you can still cancel the policy. We'll charge you a £50 cancellation fee plus insurance premium tax then refund you for the insurance you've not used. But if you cancel the policy after you've made a claim or after something happens that you could claim for, we won't give you a refund.  Details are shown in Condition 10, under General conditions, of your policy document.

This is the same if you've added any extra options to your insurance, or made any changes. From the date we add the options or make the change, you have 14 days to change your mind without paying a fee.
