Do I get a courtesy car if my car is stolen or written off?

Yes, if your car is declared as a write off by the repairer, you can have a courtesy car for four days from the day it's written off, under your normal insurance. But if it's written off straightaway, or your car is stolen, we won't be able to give you a courtesy car – unless you've bought the courtesy car upgrade.

Our standard courtesy car is a Class A size small hatchback. If you need a bigger car, you can upgrade your courtesy car for an aditional premium. Then we'll give you a medium Class D size hatchback or saloon car instead. And you can have it for up to 18 days if you car is written off, and up to 14 days if your car is stolen.
