I've started commuting to work – can I add commuting to my insurance?

Yes, we can cover you for commuting. We have three levels of insurance depending on what you use your car for:
• Social, domestic and pleasure not including commuting
• Social, domestic and pleasure including commuting
• Personal business use

Social, domestic and pleasure means you're covered for day-to-day driving like going to see friends and family, or going shopping.

It's a good idea to make sure what you're doing is actually classed as commuting – driving to and from one permanent place of work. If you go to different places for your work, then you'll need personal business use.

You can change the level of insurance you have on our Change your details page. And you'll find which level you have at the moment in your policy documents – just log in to MyDocs to see them.
